During the events of Tears of the Kingdom, Link is so tired, sleep deprived, gloom poisoned, unhinged and filthy...He is devoid of what makes Link himself: his warmth, his humor...

And that's why no one in Hyrule but his close friends recognizes him💔

Note: I know it's Linktober but life got in the way and gave up at "mirror prompt". I'm busy and whatever free time i got goes on Echoes of Wisdom (which i ADORE btw) So please accept this random doodle from my folder 😘

ALSO: I was overwhelmed with the positive reaction to my FF8 inspired Zelda and Hero's shade reunion. Seems like the Internet loves bittersweet angst as much as i do. And YES, there's a sequel in progress ;) I was already drawing it when i posted my first batch of panels.

Fanfic prompt: Time can pull of any age he wants to be it 30 or over 50

The chain goes to an inn after a long day and Time , wind and legend just walk in asking for the two largest rooms and because everyone is so tired he says that he and his kids will share

And the women on Rezeption just assumes that he is simply a rich asshole at first because those rooms are very big what will a family do with all that space

That changed very quickly when 9 other people all rushed in (four was split for maximum chaos )

Because that poor, poor mother that was forced to endure so much suffering

Then quickly starts judging Time for the ungodly amount of kids he has like

Five of them are just kids (four and wind)

While there are adults already in the family (Warriors, Twilight, Sky )

And teenagers (Legend , Hyrule, Wild)

Did that man never give his wife a break from having children

It gets even funnier if shadow also gets added to the mix but because he was dead for a while he just ends up being the smallest and youngest member of the chain (can’t age if you are dead after all )

Like that Man already has a lot of children but decided to have another one

Just because or what

The pity that mother got from the entire inn was immense

The chain quickly finds out and the very next thing they do is drag Malon with them for maximum chaos

Wild burned his hands during one of his arson adventures and can't cook, Hyrule is already excited about trying to put something together for the group instead.

They hope legend, the harsh truth dispenser of the group will talk some sense into him, but unfortunately they forgot that Hyrule is the only one he likes, so when they find him he's already in his bunny form eating grass and pretending he doesn't speak common.

BONUS: twilight, unable to accept reality turns into Wolfie and starts trying to eat grass too, which is what finally gets legend to break character to call him a dumbass, but it's futile because wild is also there on his busted hands eating grass too because he wants to feel included.

Hyrule simply assumes the grass here is tasty and puts some in the pot. Everyone but legend and Hyrule go to bed hungry that night.

Hero of Bombs / Isekai-ed Artist - Inventories

Now that our Hero has 1-2 companions running around with him, he doesn’t have to carry everything. Obviously, there’s more each of them carries (Key Items, etc.) but this is the gist.

Link ⚔️🍃 the main melee fighter, has all the weapons & gear, depending more on his many armor sets as they travel. While he loves cooking, he mostly makes & carries quick handheld meals like skewers & rice balls to save time / effort on the field.

Ingo 💣⚙️ depends completely on projectiles (Bomb Flowers, Fire Fruit, etc.) & elixirs to make up for his being an average Unovan (though seeing Legends Arceus, I think people in the Pokéverse are at least a little more hardy than people in our world). Poes are drawn to him, & he also has all the Zonai plans to build the many vehicles to help them traverse Hyrule.

Ansy 💎🌾 almost never fights due to having like one heart (lol) & mostly cooks more elaborate meals / crafts elixirs. I also decided that they got a special Fairy tonic (like “Fairy Cordial ♾️”) to deal with the medicine problem ^o^

WAIT I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING

These three are teasing Wild about transformations because ALL OF THEM CAN TRANSFORM TOO. Hyrule even hinted at his fairy form by mentioning tranformation spells! If this is foreshadowing then I'm all for it.

Has Commander made any links (no pun intended) between the people he knew in the War of Eras, like Midna or Marin, and the heroes he knows now?

He has his suspicions. He’d be shocked if Mask and Pirate haven’t come to the same conclusions, too.

Hyrule and dungeons-

So apparently Hyrule has a spider sense for dungeons

I think that the layout further proves (kind of) that this is close to Hyrule's era/is his style dungeon.

'With this architect, you don't know what could be around the corner'- but he does and can- because this is the type he's familiar with

Side note- I CANNOT express how much joy this gives me

Anyways I appreciate the detail of Hyrule knowing/feeling the chest, because from what I've played of the og Zelda that's fairly accurate. With the game guides and how the players get around- blowing stuff up randomly doesn't always work to find something, but just knowing does, because that's the only way to get through productively.

I don't know if that made sense. Hyrule's games and dungeons are hard- I couldn't get through by just finding things- because all the walls look the same! What a cool character trait to introduce: 'lucky guess'

And don't give me a heart attack like that gosh Hyrule!

Halloween prompts year 2 day 3

Danny smiled back at the elf boy. Ever since landing in Hyrule this guy has stuck by his side and did everything in his power to help him, even going so far as to learn English and teach Danny Hylian. If it wasn't for Link Danny doesn't know what he would have done.

They were in Hyrule field, practicing Dannys portal and teleporting powers to see if he could open a portal home or teleport there. He began thinking about how pure and clean Hyrule was since it didn't have a drop of pollution and how cities were supposed to be gross and polluted. So he began focusing on pollution, smog and filth, hoping that that would take him back home.

He didn't expect to teleport a city into Hyrule.

Five minutes.

Jason had only brushed his teeth and washed his face and in that time all of Crime Alley had been thrown into another dimension. Typical.

Whats more it looked like they were in a green grassy area. A legit apple forest was to the North of them and probably one of the clearest, cleanest rivers he had ever seen was directly East of them. God, he could see the fish swimming in the water.

What was most surprising though was the elf people. They weren't causing trouble per say, but hes definitely had to save some of them that wandered in out of curiosity. After the second or third one he saved he noticed a fence had popped up around all of crime ally over night. There were signs on the other side of the fence with some kind of official seals on them. So elves have political leaders? Works for him, he can guess that the signs say something to the effect of "Stay out" and it should make his job a bit easier. That and the numerous woven baskets left surrounding Crime Alley filled with fruits, veggies, cloth, clothing and soap.

Jason wasn't expecting some of the elves to get through the fencing to throw an unknown liquid into Crime Alley and then run. He panicked at first, thinking this was some kind of attack, but after testing it, he discovered it was just soapy water. He didn't understand at first but soon began getting reports from his men that anyone who wandered out of the city was being captured, thrown into the shallow water of the river, and scrubbed with long poled mops.

Rude. I mean, he gets that the elf people have probably never dealt with pollution, which means they never had to smell it, but still. Rude.

Red Hood gets a bit twitchy when he learns the kids who wander out get captured but chills out once he learns the children are never harmed.

The hylians are taking them in, bathing them, clothing, teaching them to cook and teaching them thier language. They are given lots of clothes and toys and the option to stay with them if they have no where else to go. Jason has no idea about this until a short blond elf guy and a teenage human twink talk to him and explain whats going on, the twink even apologized to him and explained that all of this was his fault.

For Wild,Hyrule and Wind

Lesson No.1 how to get free rooms

Legend : “I can get us an Inn with three meals a day reasonably well maintained rooms and a bathroom all free of charge just follow my example all you need is to say you are my accomplices when talking to a guard”

Warriors: “Legend that is a FUCKING PRISON CELL?!?!?!”

Legend : “Only if you let it.”

“Prison’s just another option, really. You can always say no to it. If they don’t catch you, you’re good. It’s their problem, not yours.”

The young members of the chain(thoughtfully): “So, prison is only for those who get caught. I like that. It makes sense.”

The rest(horrified): “No, it does NOT make sense! If you break the law, they WILL come after you!”

Lesson 1.5 how to leave the hostel :

Legend: “If you get caught, don’t worry. Breaking out is half the fun. It’s like a puzzle in a dungeon . You just need to be smarter than the guards.”

Young Heroes (taking notes): “Right. Prison break—step one: outthink the guards.”

Seniors (in disbelief): “That’s not supposed to be part of your life! You’re supposed to avoid prison entirely!”

Legend(casually): “And if you get locked up, just stay calm. Bars can’t hold you forever. There’s always a weak point. Find it.”

Wind(confidently): “Every prison has a weak point. Got it.”

Warriors(sighing): “I can’t believe I have to say this, but…don’t go to prison in the first place!”

Lesson No.2 how to deal with the fame:

Legend(smirking): “You know, if they start putting your face on wanted posters, that means you’ve earned their respect. They want you that badly. They’re paying attention to you now.”

Youngest (genuinely listening along ): “I knew it! If you’re wanted, it’s basically like they’re giving you an award for being a problem!”

Senior links(exasperated): “That’s not respect—that’s desperation to catch you!”

Legend(pointing to his wanted poster): “Look at that. They took the time to draw me! That’s how you know you’ve made an impression.”

Juniors(awed): “How do we get one of those?”

Senior Links (panicking): “You don’t want one of those! That means they’re after you!”

Lesson no.3 How to get “treasures” :

Legend being a helpful role model : “Stealing’s only a problem if you get caught. If they don’t notice, it’s basically a free trade.”

Juniors : “So it’s like finding treasure? I like it!”

Warriors(horrified): “That’s stealing! It’s not ‘treasure’ if it belongs to someone else!”

Legend (mock whispering) : “Then make it yours...”
